Saint Louis Artists’ Guild Gallery (SLAGG), located 4 blocks from the Clayton Plaza Hotel, is a nationally known art center established in 1886 and is the oldest arts organization west of the Mississippi River. Currently located in an iconic mid-century modern building, the gallery boasts 16-foot ceilings and over 5000 square fee of exhibition space. The gallery provides opportunities for juried, solo and small group exhibitions that are always free and open to the public.
Exhibition Panels: Space limits us to use panels no larger than 40 in (101 cm) wide X 72 in tall (101 cm X 183 cm tall. Panels may be smaller – not larger. All exhibition panels will be on the outside gallery walls. If you really have to paint something larger, please contact Margaret von Kaenel upon registration to explain your needs and she will do her best to accommodate you.
Demonstration Panel sizes: All Demonstration Panels will be on easels or tables only. Demonstration work must be no larger than 40 in wide X 72 in tall (or 1 m X 2 m) in order to fit on the easels. If you prefer a table format, please contact Margaret when you register. Tables are limited and available on a “first come, first served” basis.
